As I wandered around the streets of Pisa I came across this scene steps away from all the tourists traps.
This is another of those moments that, when seen, makes my heart race and fill my mind with silly thoughts "Do I have enough film on the camera?", "Is this the best lens to tell this story?", "Don't forget to check at what distance you have the lens set", "You only have one shot at this, don't mess it up"... But the moment I press the shutter and commit the image to film, knowing it's in the bag, makes it all worth it and a very rewarding experience.

Sunday morning in Central Park, among all the hustle of joggers and tourists I saw this man quietly reading his newspaper just as if he were in his living room all by himself... Seeing him enjoying his reading in the warm midmorning sun made me happy...

Seen while visiting my good friend Maurizio in Turin... From my "Dogs and the City" project... I have a few more rolls to develop and plan to start curating this project and work on a book or show afterwards.

Even as a toddler, my son already has an interest in the strange metal boxes that papa usually carries around... Recently he asked for a point and shoot we had around the house in order to start making his own pictures and every time we go somewhere he gets to makes some images (especially of bikes and other odd objects that catch his attention).
I shot this image a couple weeks ago while he was taking a break from shooting. I don't know what he was thinking of (maybe about all the cool stuff he photographed earlier) but love this fleeting but very real moment which took place right before he got up and went back to photographing the flip-flops seen in the background :) |

| One more from my "Dogs and the city" series seen in NYC... As always, no cropping was done to this image as I like to show the full frame as seeing on the negative. Enjoy! |
